Ich hab einfach gar kein Leben. Außerdem muss ich ja meinem Ruf gerecht werden, wirklich jedes Meme zu machen, das mir in die Quere kommt. Wobei dieses wenig fruchtbar wird... ^^;

1. Is your nickname/username related to visual kei? If so, how?
I don't think so. Kiwis aren't so popular in bands I think... too fat. And they have no legs or arms to play instruments....

4. How long have you been into visual kei?
Since this year, I think. It started when I visited Merl for the first time (her room is like... Wonderland!)
5. How did you first find out about visual kei?
I asked Merl about her posters, then I started research myself.
6. Can you explain why you were first drawn to visual kei and why you're still into it now?
I have to admit that I like boys with make-up. And the clothing is irresistble, as it shows how to make the most out of expensive clothes. XD
7. Who was your first visual band? (Bonus points if it's not Dir en grey or Malice Mizer!)
Alice Nine, later on Gazette. I started with early videos of them, where they still fitted into the whole visual-kei-business. (Bonus for me! :D)
8. Do you dress in a "visual" style?
No. I'm quite plain. =)
9. Do you cosplay, or would you like to cosplay? If so, what band/member?
I would love to cosplay Shou (Alice Nine) in his "gradation"-outfit. But, as I have boobs, this is no likely to happen. (And I have to admit, that I would also like to cosplay Mana, as in his greenhair-weirdo-flower-dress outfit.
10. Do you consider yourself an elitist?
As I live in Germany, you have to be careful with such expressions, don't you? ;-)

1. Favourite band? Alice Nine, Gazette, AnCafe, Glay, Malice Mizer, Plastic Tree ... depends on my daily mood XD
2. Favourite solo musician*? Gackt, I think. Firstly I adore his voice and secondly... he is just way too much of an attention whore to get past him. :D
3. Favourite vocalist? Shou, Ruki
4. Favourite guitarist? Hyde does have some amazing solos...
5. Favourite bassist? Saga... XD
6. Favourite drummer? Nao. Naonaonaonaonaonaonaooooooo.... he is just too great when it comes to play soloparts.
7. Favourite songwriter/lyricist? As I don't speak Japanese I have to depend on translations: Gazette is quite good, although they too have this much too "mystical-metaphorical" attitude that makes it hard to grab the actual meanings of the songs...
8. Favourite song? Q by Alice Nine, Maple Gunman by AnCafe, Monkey Dance by Berryz, Butterfly Boy by SuG...
9. Favourite PV (promo vid)? Hitomi no Jyuunin by L'arc en ciel, Taion by Gazette
10. Favourite visual style (kote-kei, nagoya-kei, oshare-kei, etc)? Totally dependant on my mood...
11. Favourite genre (metal, rock, punk, pop rock, etc)? Everything, but I prefer poprock
12. Favourite visual label? I only know PSC to be honest ^^;
13. Favourite "eye candy" band member? (C'mon, it's visual kei, you've gotta have at least one :P) Shou (Alice Nine), Takeru (SuG), Kai (Gazette)

1. Do you like Dir en grey back when they were visual?
As I first saw a concert where they were all colour and wild hair, I was quite... disappointed when I learned about their new style.
2. Do you like Malice Mizer (and which vocalist?)
Yes. Gackt did a wonderful job. Klaha is also good but they changed their musical direction with him...
3. Do you like Mana?
I like his dresses. ;-)
4. Do you like Kisaki?
I adore his make-up!
5. Do you know who Kenzi is?
.... nope XD
7. Do you like hide? Do you think he deserves all the hype he gets even now?
As I listened to some songs, I think he was very talented but the hype... not sure about that...
8. Do you think X Japan started the visual kei movement?
You can't date the start of visual kei, I think...
9. Do you like Kuroyume, Luna Sea, or L'arc~en~ciel?
Luna Sea and L'arc-en-ciel.
10. Do you consider yourself knowledgable regarding visual kei?
Not at all. XD But that's wonderful because I always get to learn something new!

1. Who do you think are the most notable visual bands in the last five years?
Dir en Grey, Gazette, Malice Mizer, Kagrra, Miyavi, Alice Nine, Moi dix Mois (for being so bad XD), Psycho le Cemu
2. Are you into older visual kei (90s to late 90s/early 2000) more so than the newer bands?
Early 2000 is my limit, as I took a liking to these bands at the very beginning of my visual-kei-fan-career.
3. What do you think of the current trends in visual kei?
I think the development of bands today is quite the same: They start with hardcore makeup and clothing, then they get older and more popular and retreat to a more decent style. (e.g. Gazette XD) Sometimes I like it but I also miss the old-bizarre style =)
4. What disbanded band do you miss the most?
No idea...
5. What do you think about the massive amount of online popularity that visual kei has been gaining overseas in the last 5 or so years?
As only a certain percentage of oversea fans can actually go to Japan, the internet is the only remaining medium, isn't it?
7. What do you think about females finally being able to make a break in the visual scene?
I have not seen so much of them yet, but I think they as well make some great music and stage appearance!
8. What do you think about overseas fans vs Japanese fans?
Japanese fans have a stronger relationship with their bands, as they get what the singer mouthes. XD
9. Would you go to Japan just to see visual bands live?
I do! XD.
10. What do you really dislike about visual kei?
Nothing so far...
