Loft Remake

Oh my God, I know this is old news but I just found some new pictures on my tumblr and hiiiiiiiyuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhheeeeee, I am ultrahyped for the Loft remake.
(Mostly because, if they stay true to the original, we will get Karl Urban naked and having gay vibes with one of his co actors xD)
I really enjoyed the original with Filip Peeters (to put it mildly. I went downright lunatic when I watched it) and although I don't see any other reason for this remake of an three year old movie than making money on the American market (because they are even lazier to read subtitles than German people are as I found out xDDD),  I just hope it'll pay the original justice. *ledreamysigh*

Mwahahaha, happy Fangirl goes crazy!!!!

Yeah, I understand your reasoning, but "Loft" only got released in Belgium (Germany dubbed it, of course, but it was horrible...) and there are a lot of other movies in languages I don't understand (Spanish and Portuges for example xD Oh and Japanese, because mine is horrible) and then I enjoy subtitels, tihihi.

I can understand you there. I guess what I meant was that subtitles are annoying for me when it's not an option and the movie is dubbed in its original language. I must have subtitles for movies in any language that I am not currently studying (I'm studying German, Afrikaans, and French) because then I don't really care about getting an ear for it. In movies like "House of the Flying Daggers" I'll put it on original language and have English subtitles, because whilst the English dub is good, I'd much rather hear it as it was intended.

House of Flying Daggers: yeah, I understand you there. I think I once saw the German dubbed version but I enjoy the original (plus subtitles) much more, mostly because our German version is based on the English version and the English version is based on the Chinese one and then you have two or three translations and lots of stuff gets lost in between there. =(

BUt yeah, I really wouldn't bother watching English movies with subtitles anymore (Apart from "Billy Elliot" because that's one hell of an accent! xDDDDD)
