Still not over "The Avengers" but how could I ever be

I am having feelings about this movie. It needs to be the most amazing thing. Which is a terrible attitude to have going into a superhero movie - you should expect pretty people and explosions and nothing else or you will be disappointed! And then things like Captain America can come along and surprise and delight you.

So I'm trying to go into this movie expecting Steve and Tony to be all GRAWR at each other while Tony tries to lead and Cap just does, and then for them to be BFFs. Thor should be giggling in the corner. Loki should be failbending and sadface. Agent Romanoff should be really kickass and wear lots of tight clothing.

I feel like I can probably expect something like this, yeah? Otherwise I am trying to be sure it will be properly terrible as befits a superhero movie so that I can possibly be surprised and delighted.
