Green!!

:) Lovers of green unite!

Loneliness is a great fandom motivator, isn't it? It gives one surprising skills, leads to new interests and new friends... it's how I got into the Jane Austen fandom when I was a titchy little thing, and it's why I ended up being in fandom at large (highschool; FMA fandom because some people I was trying to make friends with were in it, then zomg fandom!). And yours gave you such great skills, too! Your costumes are amazing.

I agree with you about the overly domestic fluffiness, to some degree - I really like it, but only if it happens very gradually, and very naturally. And of course one has to be in the right mood for it. I like the 'quiet mornings' sort of domesticity, where they stagger out all sleepy and sit and watch the morning, just being together. Romantic, bromantic, familial. It reminds me of mornings with my mom, where we get a cup of tea and sit in the bay window and watch the sun rise over the river. Ahem. Anyway, the single character trait thing is awful, yes, and really really bad writing, and sex scenes that are not character driven are just boring.
