Von Gamern, Geeks und großen Brillen

Wenn ihr mal 50min übrig habt: das ist hier eine wundervolle Doku über die "Geek-Culture", wie auch immer man sie definieren will, von ihren Anfängen in den 1960ern mit Dungeons&Dragons, über Lord of the Rings und Star Wars bis hin zum Nerd-Chick, der jetzt die Straßen und U-Bahnhöfe überflutet.

Es lohnt sich sehr und es wirft einige Fragen und Denkansätze auf, die echt spannend sind, (Warum ist Spiderman einer der beliebtesten Superhelden? Wer lacht wie über "Big Bang Theory"? Warum gibt es das Nerd-Stereotyp mit Brille und Pocketprotector?) egal wie sehr man sich selbst als "Nerd" oder "Geek" definiert oder eben auch nicht.

Ich hätte mir ein bisschen mehr über "weibliche Nerds/Geeks" gewünscht, aber vielleicht gibts da ja mal ne eigene Doku zu ;DDDD

The Raven - Trailer

I really really need to check my film websites more often.
Because this looks awesome and I loved "V for Vendetta" and I love how you can recognize every story from the trailer and how incredibly scary it is.

Third of October here I come.
(Oh and btw, I stumbled over this when I searced for a movie named "Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters" with Jeremy Renner. MUHAHAHAHHAHA ALL MY KINKS XDDDDD)

We are still watching Supernatural (fifth season) as if there was no tomorrow and I've found my new glorious pairing: Gabriel/Castiel.Ain't they just friggin' cute... I'd love to see pretty-boy-angel get corrupted by older,wiser and much more cynical Gabriel... awwwww, I'm such a fangirl. xD And apparently I'm a huge sucker for pairings noone else likes judging from the small amount of fanfics that is to find with those two. Damn it.
Well, I still have my problems with the whole show (what with the daddy issues and trauma every second episode -..-) but the characters and the dialogue keep me hooked up. I just love how they don't take themselves too serious. xD

( Oh and just because I can't get it out of my head )

Huch, da bin ich ja schon wieder. O_O
Erstaunlicherweise war die Flohmarktsache nicht halb so zeitaufwendig und nicht halb so nervig, wie gedacht, weswegen ich seit gut zwei Stunden wieder zu Hause bin, mich auf den heutigen Arbeitstag einstelle, mir den Bauch mit Pizza vollschlage und mich über folgendes totlache (wie auch meine Mutter und mein Vater, ahahaha xD)

Weil ich nach all dem Jubel, dem Rumgeschreie, dem Gefächer mit Seelchen und pinku_keks, das nicht nur an der Hitze lag xD, dem gescheiterten Versuch eines Autokorsos, den vier Milliarden Lach- und Squeeanfällen einfach zu fertig bin um jetzt ordentliche Jubeleinträge zu schreiben (zumal ich in zehn Minuten zur Arbeit fahren muss und noch nicht einmal angezogen bin xD), gibts jetzt hier nur ein wundertolliges Video. Mal wieder. Ich liebe Nutella.
