Two days ago I saw "The Lord of the Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring" (SEE) with my girlfriend and oh Goooooood, it was so beautiful. <33333

I cannot believe that the movie came out ten years ago, it still looks brilliant and although I know every line by heart I am still thrilled and I still manage to notice something new in the scenes (and I still cry like a baby when Boromir dies) and everything is hobbits and the Shire and beauty and glitter and Rivendell and Nazguls have fabulous shoes and argh how could I ever be into Legolas, that doesn't make sense, I cannot cope there is so much stuff I want to tell you but it just won't sound right.

These movies helped me grow up a lot and I seriously miss them. <3

(most perfect pairing everrrrrr. (Apart from Éomer and Lothiriel, but that's just my inner fangirl speaking)

R we brain twinz? Cause last week I also watched the SEE of the Fellowship (OK the first half as I didn't have time for more), and I think I defenitely must watch the whole thing with the audio-commentary of the cast soon, too, I just watched some scenes and it sounded highly awesome.

It's silly but although I own all of the SEE's since the day they were out for buying in Germany, I have never a) watched the movies in English (one reason for that being that my English during that time was less than perfect and not at all suited to understand Aragorn and Co. xD) and b) never came around to watch it with the commentary of the cast because of fear of "Entzauberung", if you catch my drift...

but maybe that's just one of those things you have to do in order to grow up?

I must say I'm not sure if I ever watched 2 & 3 in English, too XD I know I watched The Fellowship because I had an exchange-pupil from Wales and we wanted to watch something in English. But she wasn't there when the other two movies came out and then I also didn't feel confident enough to watch 3 hours of English movie :O
And now I haven't watched them in ages...*must change that*

Those were good times ... my OTP is Aragorn/Boromir though. ;)

Slash in LotR... that's still impossible for me. xDDD I see the signs and the looks and everything else that would make a slasher go all whooooooozy, but still...

~~Aragorn/Boromir is nonetheless quite appealing and there were some dark times during my youth that made me ship Eomer/Faramir... but let's not dwell on this...~~
