Hm, well they were making a video. I think they just didn't want to let it end on that sad note of her being dead (although for me that wouldn't have been sad at all, becasue she's much more of a bitch here than she was in canon). *shrugs* But yes, it's mean to John; it's yet another proof for Sherlock that John really cares about him, and my personal headcanon just says that Sherlock tells him.

4) Yes, I guessed that you meant how he behaved towards Molly, because that was just a very uncomfortable moment. I also really liked that he showed quite often (for him) that he does care, we know that he likes Mrs. Hudson, but this time it becomes clear that she means very much to him; also owkring so much faster when Johns life is in danger, and the thing with Molly, which is the biggest proof IMO, because he always treated her quite unkindly before. He is learning. hes still an asshole, though. *g*
