Movies I need to see

Some of the films I'd really like to watch if the movie theater wasn't that expensive. *le sigh*

1. Pacific Rim
I feel like I've already seen the whole movie because of tumblr going crazy with it but I still want towatch it on a big screen - and weep over what Transformers could have been had it not been Michael Bay making the films (and now Bay is making a Turtles-movie. Oh God, someone take the rights away from him)

2. Now you see me
Did anyone know this movie was coming out??? I saw the posters and ads when we were in London but I hadn't heard zip about it here in Germany. It's Michael Caine and Mark Ruffalo and Morgan Freeman and Jesse Eisenberg and MAGICKS and a detective story! This looks so promising!

3. Trance
James McAvoy needs to be in more things. Oh and Vincent Cassel too! (Just don't make the psychologist sleep with anyon...never mind. God, movies -..-)

4. Thor - The Dark World
Yeah, as if that was a surprise. ;DDD

5. Rush
I already gushed about it and I'm still very excited for the movie. Although Daniel Brühl's English is making me wish I could watch this film in original and the dubbed version (for Chris Hemsworth's voice is doing things to me xD).

6. City of Bones
Something tells me that the film is going to fail so hard but I'm here for the werewolves and pretty Magnus.

7. The Hobbit

No surprises there too....

8. The Lego Movie

It looks so adorable and it will probably be the closest thing to a Wonder Woman movie we are ever gonna get...

I never watched NGE. But, yes, if the monsters look like cool animals enough (or better yet, dragons) I will always root for the monsters. Even worse, I am not into robots at all. So good robots vs evil monsters is a double "meh" for me. :P

Yeees, I know. Mark Ruffalo is made of love and rainbows, but tickets are so expensive nowadays! Love and Rainbows are not enough!

I'm surprised you've never heard about the wank surrounding this film, and originally the books it's based on. O_O

That woman is the author of these books. She used to be a HP fanfic writer who plagiarised other authors' work (quotes from TV shows, whole pages of books) a lot (and basically her book series is her re-hashed HP fanfic, but that's not the point here). She waged a cyberwar against anyone who pointed out her blatant plagiarism and even intrigued to get one of her critics, a random girl she didn't even know personally, thrown out of her university (by framing her for hacking). All for criticising her work and methods.

It's been ten years but the author never acknowledged her shitty behavior in fandom and outside of fandom, nor did she ever apologise to the people (plural) whose offline lives she invaded (phone calls to parents, to the police, ffs!) for calling her out.

I usually try to seperate art from its creators but this hints at a level of pettiness and vindictiveness I do not wish to support at the box office, because it makes my skin crawl. Plus the majority of reviews of her books by people with good taste on goodreads are pretty bad. XD

If I'd known that not only the books are HP-fics, but she also treated people like that, I'd never bought her books in the first place D: (And yes, the books are not good. As in very, very stereotypical - and the slightly hinted incest is not the worst about them)

If you ever feel a bit bored google cassie clare + fandomwank. It's like a primer on cyber bullying. O_O

Incest? No wonder. I think her fics were mostly Ginny/Draco & Ginny/Ron.

I just googled it and it's even worsen than I imagined... woah. I have a mighty need to burn the book right now and pirate the movie (and I'm so sorry for all the actors who signed onto this film and probably killed their careers before they even started...)

I spent way to much time making my way through some posts, and... wtf?
(I always wonder how people can be like that. I wouldn't even find the *time* to start a cyber war with anyone oO)

Holy fucking shit. I did not know any of this! A friend of mine told me about the books and I borrowed the first one - it was cliché, but rather innocent fun for much younger readers I thought. But woah... I am so not gonna give that movie my money now. Woah. o.o

Sorry I ruined the movie for you, but that woman makes my skin crawl ... shall I do the same for Ender's Game or are you already informed about the sorry excuse for a human being who wrote that particular book?

I just googled him (that's all your fault XD) and... holy shit what? What?

Naaw, it's alright. I'm just sad for some of the actors, the movie is gonna fail so hard *lesigh*.

I know about the Ender's Game guy. A friend of mine had to do a presentation in school about him (dystopia and all that jazz) and we had a nice discussion in class about what an ass he is, basically XDDD
