After all the happy times in Camelot we just had, what with the mankilling ghosts and almost starvation of the whole country we just need some acrobats!
AWWWW MERLIN Y U SO CUTSEY PUTSEY WOOTSIE! I’d just be as excited as he is, gnahahah.
Dear God. I feel soooo incredibly bad seeing Uther, the once proud kind so broken and horribly shaking. Buhuuuu. ;_;

GOSH THE SLASH THE DRAMA THE LOYALTIES AND THE TRUST. GOSH! Sorry Uther, I still hate that you must suffer, but this scene is worth some internal bleeding (of somebody other than me, that is).

Oh God, I love this episode. Seriously. How Merlin finally after three years of hiding speaks his mind how he cannot bear it anymore and how he finally wants to live in peace.
CREEPY UNCLE IS CREEPY. CREEPETIE CREEPINTGTON. That’s your name.
Poor actor of Uther. Just laying there and being mistreated for an entire episode.
I hate their methods of foreshadowing. They just break my heart. ;_____;
AND THEN THEY REPAIR IT WITH SLASH AND SUPERAWESOME COMIC RELIEF.
Arthur the horse. AHAHAHAH.
Gosh, can you please not torture him, please don’t torture him, please don’t… ;____;
I really really like how Merlin can come off as wise and powerful and…
DID HE JUST… WHAT?!?!?!?!?! O____O
HOW CAN THEY KILL OF TWO VERY IMPORTANT SUPPORTING CHARACTERS IN TWO EPISODES! ;______;
Oh God no. This cannot possibly happen ;_;
The h/c and guilt tripping is going to be so incredibly heavy.
Jeez, I am just happy that Gaius isn’t mad with him, I hate it when they argue Q_Q
Goddamnit, no. ;_; Hopes shattered in the most evil way possible: crushed by the iron hand of his best friend.
Ohhh, epic music is epic! (And makes it even more clear that there is no King Uther anymore ;;_;;).
I love this show. It knows exactly when to kill the mood with comic relief and when NOT because Merlin on the verge of cyring doesn’t need any distracting laughs.
And then the earnest epicness at the end.
Show, you are doing good. I really don’t know anymore why I abandoned you (granted, the ending of season 3 could have been done better but still) now I shall wait eagerly for more!!!!

Genau das liebe ich auch so sehr an der Serie, und in 4x03 wird es besonders deutlich: sie schaffen es irgendwie, utter crack und tiefstes episches Drama in einer einzigen Folge unterzubringen, ohne dass es schräg wird. SO genial.
Und ich LIEBE das forshadowing. Morgana will find out that Emrys = Merlin, da braucht es wahrscheinlich nicht mal Mordred dazu, um es ihr zu sagen. Merlin braucht nur noch einmal so
naivdummunvorsichtig sein und in sein alter ego schlüpfen (Gott, die Parodie, das ist so göttlich!), dann hat sie ihn. Ich hab's ja eigentlich schon in der Folge erwartet, dass sie's rafft. Aber da lassen sie sich noch Zeit.Morgana vs. Merlin = epic win! He's going to be in SO MUCH TROUBLE this season!
And once Morgana knows fängt das Problem ja erst richtig an. Dann hat sie sowas von gegen Merlin in der Hand ... kann ihn voll gegen Arthur ausspielen. Mal sehen, wie lange er das mitmacht.
We WILL have our happy ending, I'm sure of it. Der weiße Drache, Excalibur ... Merlin kann Arthur auf so viele Weisen zeigen, dass magic (und ER!!!) gut für ihn ist. I CAN'T WAIT!!!
Und ja, old!Arthur/old!Merlin FTW! :DDD
