Yeah, after watching the third episode of "Sherlock" I was in dire need of a hug.
"Sherlock" is mindblowing. At least that's what I thought after the first episode that introduced us to the most lovable and finest of consulting detective and side-kick. The jokes, the innuendo, the cases, the camera-work, everything was perfect. <3
Then came episode 2 and I was slightly disappointed. Sherlock and John were brilliant, the dialogue was witty to no end but the case... uhh... I don't know. They should have stayed in London's underground not searched for some Asian villains that nobody can take serious because..
Oh come on, how cliché is it that the beautiful Chinese girl with the tragic past has a soft spot for teapots? Or how dump do the gangster have to be in order to mistake John for Sherlock because he said - in a definite mocking voice - that he was him?
Yeah, so I found it quite ennerving and cliché but still okay because we got some jealous Sherlock, trying everything to ruin John's date. XD
Now on to episode 3, the season final (yeah a season with three episodes... go die, Mister Producer) and
OH MAY GOSH IT HAD EVERYTHING!
It had a stunning case, supercute interaction between those supercute guys, a superawesome plot and some shock effects that had me sinking into my chair, closing my eyes and whine out of fear. It had Mycroft whose interaction with Holmesy was just brilliant and funny and full of their lovely rivalry and it had John being disappointed in Sherlock and looking dropdeap sexy in his waaaay too tall jacket (God, I would have eaten him up right there on the spot, respect for your self-control, Sherlock) and giving me a heart-attack when his voice got all shaky and a tiny little bit devastated when he was forced to mock Sherlock.
AND... MORIARTY! HE'S GAY (I don't care that that was just an act because listen to this guy!! And see him walk and everything xD)
AND HE DARED TO USE THIS CLICHÉ-LINE ABOUT THE "GUN IN ONE'S POCKET OR JUST BEING HAPPY TO SEE ME" ON SHERLOCK MOTHERFUCKING HOLMES.
You have no idea how happy that made me.
Moriarty is not asexual, he is a tease and if his voice wasn't making me think of Alfred J. Kwak all the time, I would jump him immediately. Well, after convincing him that he needs to set John free ASAP. xD
How fucking awesome was that man?! His facial expressions, his screams, the way his voice changed and just how he got the better of Sherlock Holmes. I serioulsy hate pairings where two arch-enemies are forced to be together but those two would be so awesome! (sorry John ;_;) He teases him! He plays with him on a level that Sherlock just can't master (at the moment, but he will learn ;-D) and he would totally kiss John in front of Sherlock just to tick him off! *imagination running around with a hammer*
Oh and the scenes with the hostages were amazing and gave me some sort of Criminal-Minds-feeling. It was intense and heartbreaking!
There were just two things that would not fit into my fangirlish bliss.
Firstly the major cliffhanger. SRSLY GUYS WHAT?! That was just evil and in my mind this seems to be a really bad way for ending the season... of course we will stay tuned till next year to see just how Sherlock will save himself and John but the tension and friction that was built up to that point will not be the same.
Secondly and that is just the Watson fangirl speaking: John got scolded like a schoolboy and that made me mad. He lives with Sherlock, Sherlock is an intellectual monstrosity and deserves every ounce of his arrogance. But why, just why could they not have John defend the lifes of the hostages a bit more fierce? He talks twice about it and Sherlock more or less tells him that he doesn't care and John is not allowed to say in a more convincing way how precious life is. Just look at the following dialogue:
John: People are dying, Sherlock!
Sherlock: Well, that's just what they do, all over the planet, go and cry at their bedside if you think that helps.
John: *silence*
Why is it not possible to have John say something among the lines of "I know that, Sherlock, but here we can interfere!" He is a doctor for god's sake he of all people would know how to convince somebody of helping others! That was so out of character... ;_;
Ah well, it was still brilliant and mindblowing and aawww everythin I hoped it would be and now I need to go to bed. Like whoa. XD

Totally made my day! :D
Mindblowing is the word! o_O
I totally agree, with everything you said.
(especially the wtf?plot of the second episode. *dies*)
But I loved the Golem and the fight at the planetarium. Very Hitchcock, very suspense-ish. *g*)
Exactly! I wanted him to be really mad at Sherlock, dunno, like arguing with him...but not giving in like he did. *pouts*
And Moriarty! He was hilarious! Like Kermit on speed! XD
Oh, and I would've jumped Sherlock in a heartbeat in this ep.
(Sherlock in uniform!?! <3 *melts*)
Thanks again, luv.
Es ist ja so schön Fangirl-Momente zu teilen. <3

Moriarty is totally OTT, but I like that he's not some old professor, but really about Sherlock's age and teasing and hilarious. XD
Concerning the cliffhanger - I can only repeat myself and say, go read
