Pain-in-the-ass-ting the walls

Since our old flatmate moved out (thank God for that. Finally. After almost six months from HELL.) pinku and I have now a spare room to our amusement and on Thursday we spontaneously decided to repaint the walls.

So we went from this

and I am awfully proud on us.
It was pinku's idea to do the stripes in that way (I had just wanted to do normal vertical stripes) and after we finished the first wall we decided to throw those on the other ones as well (I'm lacking pictures, sorry xD). Because, really, it's much more fun to paint something in a shiny color that actually covers the other colour than painting a wall white three times.
Yes, we needed to apply white colour three times due to us being to stingy to buy an expensive colour.
But believe me when I say: never again am I going to save money when dealing with wall paint. I'd much rather spend twenty bucks extra on an expensive product than painting a wall THREE TIMES ever again. Damn. So yeah, if any of you guys consider painting your walls: buy expensive products. It will save you lots of effort.

Naturally, we also needed new furniture and on Friday we ventured to Ikea, where we bought:
Oleby, our new best sofa friend:

(which shall be covered by pink blankets and shall be accompanied by small white LACK-tables).

and Expedit our lovely new cupboard.


(I totally stole all of those pictures from pinku because I am lazy like that).

Okay, so much for our most interesting re-decoration. =D

Ich glaub, Ikea hat das bestimmt noch einmal, das Sofa...? xD Aber ja, der hier bei uns in der Nähe hatte anscheinend gerade einen Sofaausverkauf, denn einige der Modelle waren spottbillig im Vergleich zu früheren Preisen (Sofas aus der Ektorp-Reihe, die normalerweise an die 500-700 Mäuse kosten für unter 300€ o.O) Vielleicht gibts das ja bei euch auch?

Tihihi, dankeschön. <333 Ich freu mich schon sehr aufs Einrichten (weil das viel spannender ist, als für die Prüfung in drei Wochen zu lernen, oh ja, ahahahha -..-)

Oleby ist auch ein Schlafsofa für zwei Personen (eng aber geht schon xD) also wenn ihr dann mal herkommt, um euch in natura anzugucken, weswegen ich Mia ungefähr fünf Mal hintereinander versetzt hab, dann könnt ihr das einweihen! =D

Ahh danke. <3 Und ja, verdammt, ich hasse Wändestreichen. Bei deiner roten Wand wirds ähnlich gewesen sein, wa? Ich hab immer die Krise gekriegt, wenn man eine neue feuchte Schicht Farbe aufgetragen hat und das Ganze viiiiiiel schlimmer aussah als vorher. Argh!! <.<

Dann wünsch ich dir mal ganz viel Kraft! Und uff, wenns erstmal vorbei ist, dann freut man sich umso mehr. xD

Ja, wir mussten zweimal streichen und das hat schon genervt.. Und meine grüne Küche müssen wir nächste Woche auch nochmal streichen, weil die Farbe da auch noch nicht deckt *graaaaah* Sowas ist einfach so so so nervig ._.

Eigentlich ne kluge Idee, nur soviel Poster kann ich nicht knapp übern Fußboden hängen, dass dieses olle Rosa verdeckt worden wär. xDD
