I can understand you there. I guess what I meant was that subtitles are annoying for me when it's not an option and the movie is dubbed in its original language. I must have subtitles for movies in any language that I am not currently studying (I'm studying German, Afrikaans, and French) because then I don't really care about getting an ear for it. In movies like "House of the Flying Daggers" I'll put it on original language and have English subtitles, because whilst the English dub is good, I'd much rather hear it as it was intended. ~
