called Akihabara, the tech and anime paradise for every otaku out there.
Jeez. I really don’t like it there. I feel alien between all the guys (apart from the fact that I at least always look quite alien xD My flat shoes were still wet so I had to wear my 7cm high heels so yeah. I was bigger than everyone else there. xDD) and yeah since my interest in Manga and anime is super specific I almost never find the stuff that I actually want. But oh okay, today was nice I found a shop for Pullips and almost bought a girl in a super fancy dress, but sadly she was too big to fit in my trunket.
I also saw the most amazing Iron Man and Captain America dolls ever (and a kind soul had even positioned them to look like they were hugging or something xD).
And then the weird part began, when I accidentally stumbled into the ”3rd Reich” section. Uhm yeah. Who doesnt want a 60cm doll of Joseph Goebbels on their night stands.
WTF Japan. XDDD
But oh well I got very cheap Nintendo DS for pinku and myself (they didnt have the super cheap ones anymore, darling, I am so sorry! So the ones I bought now are both pink and both cost about 36Euros. And Nintendogs was sold out for some reason (perhaps because of my pronounciation xD)) and a game to look up Kanji which is very practical and much more useful than those God awful Denshi Jishos which I now officially hate.
Uhm yeah, I know have to kill 2h more before I have to take the bus to the airport, the plane to Abu Dhabi, the plane to Frankfurt, the train to that small town near my parents house, the car to my parents house, my feet to the shower and to the kitchen.
Oh and
pardotje... I got that Silver Wolf DVD. Meheheheh. You need to take a day off, you just have to. xD
Takarazuka was awesome btw . I actually liked the dance revue much more than the play because ... hmm... I have no idea actually. The play (Katjusha by Leo Tolstoi) was good but not that thrilling and yeah (I also needed some time to figure out that when they said Domitori they meant the main character and not some dormitory Tolstoi had somehow forgotten to mention in his book. xDD). I met a woman from Texas there too, she studies architecture and together with the Japanese woman next to me we tried to explain to her what was going on on the stage (I think we failed but oh well it was superfunny xD). And the American woman squealed like a child on Christmas when the grand finale came and the Otokoyaku was donned with the feather...thingie they always have to wear at the end. Supercool xD).
So yeah. I really look forward to see Germany again although I made some very good friends here. But I suppose thats how it always is. "giggel"

Yeah I got it! Thats the reason I went there in the first place after all! I didnt have time to try it out yet (I'm at Narita Airport right now) but ohhh my pink DS, Kanji Sonomama and I shall go on a lot of adventures in the future! MWAHAHAH
Yes, I have Skype! As soon as I am home I shall add you! The duck btw I placed in the trusted and well meaning hands of my new Japanese friend so I think it should be on its way to your home on monday or tuesday. =D
Re: You know, I've never been to Akihabara
Date: 2012-03-18 12:39 pm (UTC)Kanji Sonomama is the best. So, so much the best. I take it with me everywhere! And unlike the stupid Denshi Jishos, it doesn't grow pigmented splotches. Clearly superior.
Yay! Can't wait to talk to you! (yay duckie)
