I am not going to say how disappointed I am. I am not going to lament over the obvious lack of a nicely thought-through script. And I am surely not complaining of how they made the death of one of the most loveable, tragic and caring persons in HPuniverse into a plain, boring and impious session of MADE-OF-FAIL I ever had to witness or endure.
I cried actually, but it was out of sheer terror and disappointment than anything else. I hate you, dear director. Well, not exactly, since you never had the chance to make a brilliant movie in the first place considering the sixth book as a reference, however, you could have put a little bit of thought and LOVE in your characters, you could have NOT wasted one and a half hour with nothing but puberty, hormons running wild and borin,g supposed-to-be-funny lovestories.
Seriously, there were some ravishingly good sequences, as e.g. when Harry takes his liquid-luck potion and we have five minutes of extraordinary, funny and grotesque LSD-trip-scenes in a row (Aragog's funeral and Harry's clapping-like-an-idiot were funny indeed!). Or when the Burrow was attacked! Yay, action! And a great, insane Bellatrix and raaawr-ish Fenrir (<- fangirl with soft spot for werewolves speaking, pay no attention to this) had me enjoying this movie for five seconds.
And then... well the rest was Epic Fail. XD (At least, I got to see Remus and Tonks, Tonks calling him "darling" ^_^. Although I would have preferred if they'd kept the bantering and Emo!Werewolftalk between those two. Reeeeeeeeemuss *rawr*)

Date: 2009-07-21 04:27 pm (UTC)Also, Tom Felton macht schon sehr was her!
