I'm so glad to hear it! I've still been worried about writing about my intelligent and their rather thoughtful/wise coaches. I'm so happy to hear that about Neuer! On tumblr I saw that he got the 500,000 euro question! What a terrific thing for the kids! Nutella for everyone! lol

Wow, vicious embarassment? That's sad. I guess every country has it though and I just can't stand ours. It's what makes being a football fan hard, because in addition to finding pictures from training, photoshoots and whatnot, you run into a ton of other pictures that just ugh, tabloids. I hate them.

Aww good! I was worried because I didn't want to make you hate Bayern even more. I try and find out who my friends like so that way I can be sensitive to your feelings. That's why I don't mind liking players from the other teams and will silently root for them when Bayern isn't in danger. I also blame the NT... heh and we have that here in the MLS. Though I seem to like the teams that everyone hates, because even though the Sounders were #2 in the table, everyone seems to hate us. They say that our fans are too noisey during the matches, were are below any normal football match in the Bundesliga.

The MLS teams I cannot stand are Real Salt Lake and uh, Real Salt Lake. Cannot stand them. I'm also developing a keen dislike for Portland, but I have no problem in loving our nemisis, the Vancouver Whitecaps, because I think the team and what they do for the community is just awesome. So yeah, I understand the rivarly as well as you not being fond of Bavaria.

It's like me with the tropical beaches here in the US that everyone drools over. People love Hawaii, and it's the last place on earth that I'd want to visit and people think I'm crazy. But I'm a mountain girl, hence the reason I love Bavaria and have hinted at my dad at ignoring the Dortmund game this weekend for a snowy adventure in our mountains.

And I totally agree! We should be accepting of each other and be good sports! What irritates me is that on the Sounders page on FB you'll have all these other people who just bash us and the Sounders, calling us "Band wagon jumpers" and everything. I want to slap them over the head with a wet fish. They call it "good fun" but it's a lot of derrogative name-calling, which I don't see as being "all in good fun".
